The International University of Agadir – Univsersiapolis, was built in 2010 in the new university zone of the city of Agadir on an area of 6 Ha and with a modern and integrated architecture. The campus was built with a design that provides students with an integrated, user-friendly infrastructure with all the necessary local services.
The campus includes the four institutions under the University, a common library, a university residence, a technology hall, a research center, a congress hall and several spaces and sports fields.
The campus was built in compliance with safety, health and accessibility standards.
The industry sector, is a strategic sector for the national economy with the adoption of the Industrial Acceleration Plan for the period 2014-2020 which aims to:
- Create 500,000 jobs in the industry on global needs of 1.3 million ;
- Increase industrial GDP to 23% of global GDP (compared to 14% currently) ;
- Create an industrial development fund with 20 billion DH ;
- Dedicate 1,000 hectares of land for rent.
The city of Agadir is the 3rd economic pole of Morocco and belongs to the top 10 of the best tourist destinations in Africa.
The region receives more than 100,000 students each year and provides them with an ideal setting for their studies.
